The Medical SPA Egl\u0117s sanatorija \u2013 what is it like? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is an organisation with many years of experience in the field of healthcare, employing the latest treatment methods. It stands as a source of wisdom and a wealth of knowledge, yet constantly improving and striving for excellence. Medical SPA Egl\u0117s sanatorija is located in two Lithuanian resorts \u2013 Druskininkai and Bir\u0161tonas \u2013 as well as in Vilnius, where it opened a Day Centre in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is renowned for its long tradition of Medical SPA treatments and its natural therapeutic factors: mineral water, healing mud, and climate. These natural factors, which have made Lithuanian SPAs famous for centuries, are combined in the Medical SPA with state-of-the-art technology, innovative equipment, massage, physiotherapy, psychotherapy and occupational therapy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of this enables the Medical SPA to fulfil its main mission which is to help people regain, maintain and improve their health.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MEDICAL SPA Egl\u0117s sanatorija in Druskininkai<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Egl\u0117s sanatorija in Druskininkai is located in the outskirts of the city amidst nature\u2019s embrace, 3,5 km away from the city centre. The Medical SPA was opened in 1972. In 2018, the residential blocks A, B and C (Standard class) were renovated, and a glass gallery was built to provide the guests with easy access to the mineral water buvette and the SPA facilities. The Comfort class block was opened in 2009. In addition to the residential blocks, the Medical SPA has two swimming pool and sauna complexes (Standard | Economy and Comfort), a treatment centre, a mineral water buvette, buffet restaurants, caf\u00e9s, and conference rooms. The SPA also has a glass gallery, a children\u2019s playroom, leisure areas, a modern library, gyms, a winter garden, an outdoor reflexology path, an herb garden, a playground, tennis courts, and basketball and badminton courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


MEDICAL SPA Egl\u0117s sanatorija in Bir\u0161tonas <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Egl\u0117s sanatorija in Bir\u0161tonas is surrounded by pine forests and is nestled by the meandering Nemunas. The Medical SPA of Bir\u0161tonas opened its doors in 2013. The wellness complex, located in the centre of the Medical SPA, consists of four interconnected residential blocks and a treatment centre. Here, guests can easily access any part of the SPA without stepping outside. The guests at Bir\u0161tonas are offered one and only \u2013 the highest Comfort level. The Medical SPA has a swimming pool and a sauna complex, a SPA centre, a unique Amber SPA area, a mineral water buvette, a generous buffet restaurant, caf\u00e9s, conference rooms, a children\u2019s playroom, leisure areas, a modern library, a gym. Outdoors, the guests will find tennis courts and a children\u2019s playground. Next to the main building of the Medical SPA there are apartments where residents can book a stay with their pets for an extra fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


REHABILITATION CENTRES <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For more than 50 years, Medical SPA Egl\u0117s sanatorija has been creating and nurturing the traditions of medical spa treatments, maintaining high qualifications of its employees and using unique natural resources \u2013 therapeutic mud and mineral water \u2013 to help people to strengthen, maintain and regain their health. Furthermore, this decades long experience in wellness is now also shared at the Egl\u0117 Rehabilitation Centres.  The centres welcome spa clients who are looking to continue their treatment, after a wellness or medical spa treatment in Druskininkai or Bir\u0161tonas, as well as receive preventative health care and further improve their well-being. In addition to that, rehabilitation centres welcome clients who are not yet familiar with Medical SPA Egl\u0117s sanatorija but wish to start their health journey with this organisation, which has more than 50 years of experience in the field of treatment and rehabilitation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rehabilitation centres provide innovative physiotherapy treatments, medical and lymphatic drainage massages, individual and group workouts, peat and white mud applications, mineral baths, underwater and dry bed massages, and halotherapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Egl\u0117 Rehabilitation Centre in Vilnius, <\/strong>which opened in 2023, is located at 20 Konstitucijos ave. The Egl\u0117 Rehabilitation Centre in Kaunas, <\/strong>which was opened in 2024, is located at 37b Vytauto ave. Finally, the Egl\u0117 Rehabilitation Centre in Vilnius, in the CORE Business Centre,<\/strong> also opened in 2024, is next to the \u201cPanorama\u201d shopping centre, at 126 Ukmerg\u0117s str.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
